Digital Clock Repair Kit 83-85.
The repair kit contains a new digital clock in a custom case.
You can reuse your original VEGLIA Borletti VEGLIAFLASH cover.
ATTENTION: Since the adjustment buttons on the new digital clock are located differently than on the VEGLIA clock, the buttons on the VEGLIA cover no longer function.
Reproduction of the digital clock:
The reproduction has two connections:
Ground (black wire)
+12 V (red wire)
In addition, it has an integrated battery that stores the time for a certain period of time, even when there is no voltage.
Connection options for the red wire (12 V) in the reproduction:
Connect to grey phase: The display is only activated when the engine is running. Attention: When the engine is switched off, the clock runs exclusively on the built-in battery. Depending on the time of inactivity, the time may be lost and must be reset.
Connect to red phase: The display is permanently active, even when the engine is switched off (provided 12 V is present).
Original VEGLIAFLASH:
The original clock has four connections:
+12 V permanent (red wire): Continuously supplies the clock with power to store the time – even when the ignition is off.
+12 V via ignition (grey wire): Activates the display when the engine is running.
+12 V via parking light (yellow wire): Activates the display when the parking light is on.
Ground (black wire)
Note: In both versions (original and reproduction) the ground is connected via the black wire.
